Welcome to Parker Bible Church!
Where people are excited about God’s Word
PBC is a fellowship of believers that is focused on fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for the local church as revealed in God’s Word. We believe in the absolute authority, sufficiency, and infallibility of the Word of God. It is our high view of Scripture that provides the foundation upon which every area of ministry is built.
At PBC, we embrace expository preaching, that is, teaching that exposes the meaning of the text of Scripture and applies it to life. Our goal is to honor Christ by equipping people with the necessary tools for living godly lives, raising godly families, serving and loving the family of God, and sharing the Gospel of Christ with a lost world.
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” – 2 Peter 1:2-3
PBC FEBRUARY NEWS
From Your Pastor’s Heart
We are going to have a SUPER day in the Lord today! Of course, there is some kind of major sporting event going on, but I encourage you to just tape it and watch it after the evening service. (News Flash: the Broncos are not in it!) Seriously, I hope you will give the Lord the priority on this, His day. And, of course, that should be our priority every Lord’s Day. Every time we meet corporately for worship as a church, we should be faithful to be there (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Speaking of the evening service, we have been looking at the “Man of Lawlessness” in 2 Thessalonians 2, and I would have to say that the more I study this, the more convinced I become that His appearance can’t be that far off. Everything seems to be setting up for Satan to bring his man on the world scene. We can’t say at this point who he is, but we can sure see how the world scene is setting up for the kind of scenario that we see in Scripture. Could it be that the time of the end is drawing near? Could it be that we are living in the last days, and that we would be the generation that will see these things come to pass? I hope you will join us tonight as we consider those questions.– Pastor Kirk
