Welcome to Parker Bible Church!
Where people are excited about God’s Word
PBC is a fellowship of believers that is focused on fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for the local church as revealed in God’s Word. We believe in the absolute authority, sufficiency, and infallibility of the Word of God. It is our high view of Scripture that provides the foundation upon which every area of ministry is built.
At PBC, we embrace expository preaching, that is, teaching that exposes the meaning of the text of Scripture and applies it to life. Our goal is to honor Christ by equipping people with the necessary tools for living godly lives, raising godly families, serving and loving the family of God, and sharing the Gospel of Christ with a lost world.
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” – 2 Peter 1:2-3
PBC JUNE NEWS
From Your Pastor’s Heart
Please be in prayer for our youth as they have traveled to Ascend Camp. Pray that this week at camp would greatly affect each and every one of their lives and serve to enhance our youth ministry in the future. Also, continue to pray for our search, as we work to find a good candidate to become our next youth pastor. This is a very important decision and we want to make the right one. We covet your prayers in this regard.
It’s good to have Tim Morris leading our music this morning in Michael’s absence. Thank you, Tim, for your dedicated service to the Lord and for your willingness to do whatever is needed for the sake of the church.
We have been enjoying some wonderful times of fellowship in the past week or so and we have other times planned ahead. Please watch your bulletin for details as we move through the summer months. We are having one of our strongest summers in a long time. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord.
