Welcome to Parker Bible Church!
Where people are excited about God’s Word
PBC is a fellowship of believers that is focused on fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for the local church as revealed in God’s Word. We believe in the absolute authority, sufficiency, and infallibility of the Word of God. It is our high view of Scripture that provides the foundation upon which every area of ministry is built.
At PBC, we embrace expository preaching, that is, teaching that exposes the meaning of the text of Scripture and applies it to life. Our goal is to honor Christ by equipping people with the necessary tools for living godly lives, raising godly families, serving and loving the family of God, and sharing the Gospel of Christ with a lost world.
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” – 2 Peter 1:2-3
PBC AUGUST NEWS
From Your Pastor’s Heart
Next weekend is Labor Day weekend and then everything will ramp up for the fall. Please check your bulletin for various ministry kick off dates. Our AWANA clubs will begin on Wednesday, September 9. Ladies’ Bible study resumes on Tuesday, September 15.
Some of you men have been asking about Men’s Discipleship on Saturday mornings. Because of some major events in September we will not start until the first Saturday of October. Of course, the big events in September are the Music Retreat and the Legacy Conference. Make plans to be part of those events.
As far as the preaching schedule is concerned, we will return to Romans on Sunday mornings. On Sunday evenings, beginning September 13, we will begin a study in the book of Revelation. I hope you will plan to be part of both studies. In Romans, we are going to be starting in chapter 8, one of the greatest chapters in the Bible. Plan to be part of all these exciting activities in September.
