Welcome to Parker Bible Church!
Where people are excited about God’s Word

PBC is a fellowship of believers that is focused on fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for the local church as revealed in God’s Word. We believe in the absolute authority, sufficiency, and infallibility of the Word of God. It is our high view of Scripture that provides the foundation upon which every area of ministry is built.

At PBC, we embrace expository preaching, that is, teaching that exposes the meaning of the text of Scripture and applies it to life. Our goal is to honor Christ by equipping people with the necessary tools for living godly lives, raising godly families, serving and loving the family of God, and sharing the Gospel of Christ with a lost world.

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” – 2 Peter 1:2-3

From Your Pastor’s Heart
Resurrection Sunday is next week, and it will be of course, the largest attended service we have all year. A year ago we had 384 people in two services. This tells us that people are willing to come on this particular Sunday but might not be willing to come any other time. Although we might wish this was not the case, we would hope they would see the need for regular church attendance.  We have an opportunity to proclaim the message of the gospel on that one Sunday. Let’s do everything we can to invite our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Pick up a few of the cards in the foyer and hand them out. And don’t forget about the Good Friday service this week.

Today is Palm Sunday and it is somewhat of a tradition here at PBC to observe the Lord’s Supper on this particular Sunday. Of course, it was on Palm Sunday when Jesus was presented to Israel as their Messiah in a formal way. The failure to receive Him is what triggered the events of the week of His passion. We know He is the true Messiah. Let’s worship Him all during this week.
